The Third Caspian Economic Forum commenced on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Sa’dabad Cultural and Historical Complex in Tehran.

According to Baran Press, the event was hosted by Mohammad Reza Aref, the Vice-President of Iran, and included the participation of the Prime Ministers of four other littoral states of the Caspian Sea, including Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.

The introduction and exploration of the latest achievements and the last status of economic, commercial, scientific and technological cooperation, health and wellness, energy, finance, tourism; and the enhancement of investment in free zones, and logistical issues pertinent to the Caspian Sea littoral states are among the primary objectives of this conference.

The forum, previously proposed by the Islamic Republic of Iran for negotiations among the five Caspian littoral nations, is recognized as the highest level of the five-nation conference, and Iran is scheduled to host the seventh summit in 2026.

سومین اجلاس اقتصادی خزر در تهران

سومین اجلاس اقتصادی خزر روز سه شنبه ۲۷ بهمن ۱۳۹۴ در مجموعه فرهنگی تاریخی سعدآباد تهران آغاز به کار کرد.

به گزارش باران پرس، این مراسم به میزبانی محمدرضا عارف، معاون رئیس جمهور ایران و حضور نخست وزیران چهار کشور ساحلی دریای خزر شامل روسیه، ترکمنستان، قزاقستان و آذربایجان برگزار شد.

معرفی و بررسی آخرین دستاوردها و آخرین وضعیت همکاری های اقتصادی، تجاری، علمی و فناوری، سلامت و تندرستی، انرژی، مالی، گردشگری. و افزایش سرمایه گذاری در مناطق آزاد و مسائل لجستیکی مربوط به کشورهای ساحلی دریای خزر از اهداف اولیه این کنفرانس است.

اجلاسی که پیش از این از سوی جمهوری اسلامی ایران برای مذاکره میان پنج کشور حاشیه دریای خزر پیشنهاد شده بود، به عنوان بالاترین سطح کنفرانس پنج کشور شناخته شده و قرار است ایران میزبان هفتمین اجلاس سران در سال ۲۰۲۶ باشد.
