Gilan Governor has met with Iraqi investors from the tourism and aviation sectors, seeking to boost economic ties. The Third Caspian Economic Forum commenced on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Sa'dabad Cultural and Historical Complex in Tehran. The 21st edition of international chess Festival, the Caspian Cup, began today, February 12th, in Anzali Free Zone. According to Baran Press, about 800 chess players from 10 countries are competing. These countries are: Croatia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Spain, Turkmenistan, China, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, and Pakistan. There are five different groups for the players. Group A is for Master's players rated above 1900 Group B is for players rated under 2000 Group C is for young players and two last groups will play "blitz" and "rapid".
