Gilan Province Governor Dr. Haghshenas is leading a high-level delegation in Moscow this week, representing Iran at the BRICS Future Cities Forum. The Governor arrived in Moscow on Wednesday, September 17th.

According to Baran Press, the forum aims to foster sustainable urban development, promote smart technologies and innovation, and strengthen economic and social cooperation among BRICS member countries.

Dr. Haghshenas is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech highlighting the potential of Iran’s northern provinces in advancing regional cooperation. He will emphasize the crucial role of Caspian Sea coastal provinces in expanding both economic and environmental interactions within the BRICS framework.

In addition to the forum, Dr. Haghshenas will engage in bilateral meetings with Russian economic, banking, and local officials. These meetings will focus on exploring opportunities for collaboration in several key areas, including maritime transport, trade development, banking and insurance partnerships. The Governor also intends to facilitate the sharing of experiences among BRICS nations regarding wetland restoration and the management of environmental challenges.

 دکتر حق‌شناس، استاندار گیلان، این هفته در راس یک هیئت بلندپایه به نمایندگی از ایران در مجمع شهرهای آینده بریکس در مسکو حضور دارد. استاندار گیلان روز چهارشنبه، ۱۶ شهریور، وارد مسکو شد.

به گزارش باران پرس، هدف این مجمع، تقویت توسعه پایدار شهری، ترویج فناوری‌ها و نوآوری‌های هوشمند و تقویت همکاری‌های اقتصادی و اجتماعی بین کشورهای عضو بریکس است.

دکتر حق‌شناس قرار است سخنرانی اصلی را با برجسته کردن پتانسیل استان‌های شمالی ایران در پیشبرد همکاری‌های منطقه‌ای ارائه دهد. او بر نقش حیاتی استان‌های ساحلی دریای خزر در گسترش تعاملات اقتصادی و زیست‌محیطی در چارچوب بریکس تأکید خواهد کرد.

علاوه بر این مجمع، دکتر حق‌شناس در جلسات دوجانبه با مقامات اقتصادی، بانکی و محلی روسیه شرکت خواهد کرد. این جلسات بر بررسی فرصت‌های همکاری در چندین حوزه کلیدی، از جمله حمل و نقل دریایی، توسعه تجارت، مشارکت‌های بانکی و بیمه‌ای متمرکز خواهد بود. استاندار همچنین قصد دارد به اشتراک‌گذاری تجربیات بین کشورهای بریکس در زمینه احیای تالاب‌ها و مدیریت چالش‌های زیست‌محیطی را تسهیل کند.
