The President of the Guilan Bar Association has expressed serious concerns about the rising number of legal apprentices, warning that the current trend is simply turning unemployed graduates into unemployed lawyers.

According to Baran Press, Dr. Nazari Nejad stated in a recent press conference, “The number of applicants and law graduates has increased, and decision-making bodies believe that by increasing the admission capacity and issuing more law licenses, they can solve the problem of unemployed law graduates. However, with this trend, they are merely turning unemployed graduates into unemployed lawyers.”

He further explained, “When a law graduate is unemployed, they might turn to alternative jobs. But when a lawyer is unemployed, due to their social status, they cannot just take any job, which causes greater harm to society.”

Dr. Nazari Nejad stated that the Bar Association’s role is limited to raising awareness and highlighting the issue. He expressed hope that the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) will “recognize these challenges and work toward amending the Facilitation Law.”

“We do not have accurate statistics on the number of unemployed lawyers in Gilan,” he added, “but based on experience, we know that the economic and professional situation of young lawyers is precarious. Law is no longer a high-income or financially secure profession, and many young colleagues are struggling.”

رئیس کانون وکلای گیلان نگرانی‌های جدی خود را در مورد افزایش تعداد کارآموزان حقوق ابراز کرده و هشدار داده است که روند فعلی به سادگی فارغ التحصیلان بیکار را به وکلای بیکار تبدیل می‌کند.

به گزارش باران پرس، دکتر نظری نژاد در یک کنفرانس مطبوعاتی اظهار داشت: «تعداد متقاضیان و فارغ التحصیلان رشته حقوق افزایش یافته و نهادهای تصمیم‌گیر معتقدند با افزایش ظرفیت پذیرش و صدور پروانه‌های وکالت بیشتر، می‌توانند مشکل فارغ التحصیلان حقوق بیکار را حل کنند. درحالیکه با این روند، آنها صرفاً فارغ التحصیلان بیکار را به وکلای بیکار تبدیل می‌کنند.»

وی افزود: وقتی فارغ التحصیل حقوق بیکار باشد، ممکن است به سراغ مشاغل جایگزین برود اما زمانی که وکیل بیکار باشد به واسطه منزلت اجتماعی که دارد، نمی تواند سراغ هر کاری برود لذا آسیب‌های بیشتری برای جامعه دارد.

دکتر نظری نژاد اظهار داشت که نقش کانون وکلا محدود به افزایش آگاهی و برجسته کردن این موضوع است. او ابراز امیدواری کرد که مجلس شورای اسلامی «این چالش‌ها را تشخیص داده و برای اصلاح قانون تسهیل تلاش کند.»

او ضمن ابراز نگرانی افزود: آمار دقیقی از تعداد وکلای بیکار در گیلان نداریم اما به‌طور تجربی می‌دانیم وضعیت معیشتی و شغلی وکلای جوان مخاطره‌آمیز است. وکالت دیگر شغلی پردرآمد و تضمین‌کننده معیشت نیست و بسیاری از همکاران جوان با رنج روبه‌رو هستند.
