Iraqi Airways has resumed its weekly flights to Rasht Airport in Iran’s Gilan province after a nearly one-month suspension caused by the recent 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel.

Baran Press: Mohsen Mirhosseini, the director of Gilan Airport, announced that the airline restarted its services with 12 weekly round-trip flights, with plans to increase the number of flights in the near future.

Before the brief conflict, Iraqi Airways operated over 30 weekly round-trip flights between Iraq’s major cities — Baghdad, Basra, and Najaf — and Rasht, highlighting the high passenger and cargo capacity between the two regions.

The recent conflict, which began on June 13 following a large-scale aerial invasion by Israel, had temporarily halted almost all international and domestic services across the Islamic Republic.

پروازهای هواپیمایی عراق به فرودگاه رشت از سر گرفته شد

شرکت هواپیمایی عراق پس از تقریباً یک ماه تعلیق ناشی از درگیری ۱۲ روزه اخیر بین ایران و اسرائیل، پروازهای هفتگی خود به فرودگاه رشت در استان گیلان را از سر گرفته است.

محسن میرحسینی، مدیر فرودگاه گیلان، اعلام کرد که این شرکت هواپیمایی خدمات خود را با ۱۲ پرواز رفت و برگشت هفتگی از سر گرفته است و قصد دارد تعداد پروازها را در آینده نزدیک افزایش دهد.

پیش از این درگیری کوتاه، هواپیمایی عراق بیش از ۳۰ پرواز رفت و برگشت هفتگی بین شهرهای بزرگ عراق – بغداد، بصره و نجف – و رشت انجام می‌داد که نشان‌دهنده ظرفیت بالای مسافر و بار بین این دو منطقه است.

درگیری اخیر که در ۲۳ خرداد پس از حمله هوایی گسترده اسرائیل آغاز شد، تقریباً تمام خدمات بین‌المللی و داخلی را در سراسر جمهوری اسلامی به طور موقت متوقف کرده بود.
