Rasht Municipality’s international relations official declared that Rasht has joined the Asian Mayors Forum (AFM).

Baran Press reports, “The 10th AMF Executive Board Meeting was held in Tehran on August 28, 2024, with the presence of mayors, representatives, and ambassadors from Iran (Rasht, Mashhad, Khorram Abad, Kermanshah), Jordan, Pakistan, Russia, Indonesia, India, Bhutan, Armenia, Nigeria, Lebanon, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Malaysia, the Philippines and Palestine. The International Organization for Migration and the Eco-Cultural Institute representatives were present at this meeting, and Rasht’s membership was authorized by the Executive Board”, said Zeinab Barzegar.

She added Kazan, Russia hosted the 9th AMF Executive Board Meeting in May 2023.

عضویت رشت در مجمع شهرداران آسیایی AMF

مسول امور بین الملل شهرداری رشت از پیوستن رشت به مجمع شهرداران آسیایی AMF خبر داد.

به گزارش باران پرس، زینب برزگر گفت: دهمین نشست هیات اجرایی مجمع شهرداران آسیایی، با حضور سفرا و شهردارانی از کشورهای تاجیکستان، روسیه، ترکیه، اندونزی، مالزی، فیلیپین و همچنین نمایندگان موسسه فرهنگی اکو (ECI) و سازمان بین المللی مهاجرت (IOM) و شهرداران مشهد، رشت، کرمانشاه و خرم آباد هشتم شهریور ماه در تهران برگزار شد و یکی از مصوبات آن پذیرش عضویت رشت در این مجمع بود.

وی افزود: نهمین نشست هیئت اجرایی مجمع شهرداران آسیایی در ماه مه ۲۰۲۳ در کازان روسیه برگزار شده بود.
