روند انتخابات ریاست‌جمهوری دوازدهم روز شنبه ۳۰ اردیبهشت‌ماه با اعلام نتایج نهایی از سوی وزارت کشور به پایان رسید. براساس اعلام دبیر ستاد انتخابات حجت‌الاسلام حسن روحانی با ۲۳,۵۴۹,۶۱۶رای توانست رای اکثریت مردم را کسب کند.
در این دوره از انتخابات از ۴۱,۲۲۰,۱۳۱ رای ماخوذه، حجت الاسلام سیدابراهیم رئیسی ۱۵,۷۸۶,۴۴۹ رای، سیدمصطفی آقامیرسلیم ۴۷۸,۲۱۵ رای و سیدمصطفی هاشمی‌طبا ۲۱۵,۴۵۰ رای کسب کردند. آرای باطله ۱,۱۹۰,۴۰۱ بود.
