Iran and the United States are planning to hold a new round of talks focused on disputes surrounding Tehran’s nuclear program, according to a report.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has appointed Kazem Gharibabadi as Iran’s special representative for Caspian Sea affairs.

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi was nominated by President Pezeshkian as his foreign minister and his nomination approved by Iran’s parliament on 21 August 2024.
