The minister of sports and youth ordered a thorough investigation into recent misconduct involving members of the national athletics team during the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships in South Korea.

Minister of Sports and Youth, Ahmad Donyamali, traveled to China on Tuesday, May 20th, to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's (SCO) Sports Ministers' Conference.
