Gilan province and Uzbekistan are exploring closer ties in the silk industry, with discussions underway to form a joint committee focused on trade development and investment. The announcement follows a visit to Gilan on Tuesday by Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Iran, Breidaldin Nasriov.
