UNESCO’s Deputy Cultural Secretary-General, Ernesto Ottone, has conveyed appreciation for Rasht Mayor Rahim Shoghi in a letter to the Secretary-General of the National Commission for UNESCO in Iran.

According to Baran Press, the commendation recognizes the special programs organized to commemorate the Week of Rasht. Ottone noted that these programs align with the global recognition of Rasht as Iran’s first Creative City of Gastronomy, a distinction awarded by UNESCO.

The letter also expressed UNESCO’s anticipation for new projects in Rasht in 2025, aligning with the mission of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network.

 یونسکو از شهردار رشت تقدیر کرد

 ارنستو اوتونه، معاون فرهنگی دبیرکل سازمان جهانی یونسکو، در نامه‌ای به دبیرکل کمیسیون ملی یونسکو در ایران از رحیم شوقی شهردار رشت، تقدیر کرد.

به گزارش باران پرس، این تقدیر به منظور اجرای ویژه‌ برنامه‌های گرامیداشت هفته رشت بوده است.

اوتونه خاطرنشان کرد: این برنامه ها با برند جهانی اولین شهر خلاق خوراک‌ ایران، که توسط یونسکو اعطا شده، منطبق بوده است.

وی در این نامه اظهار امیدواری کرد: بی صبرانه منتظر اجرای پروژه‌های جدید در رشت، همسو با رسالت شبکه شهرهای خلاق یونسکو، در سال ۲۰۲۵ هستیم.
