China’s Ambassador to Iran, Zhong Pei Wu, has underscored Beijing’s commitment to expanding economic cooperation with Iran, particularly highlighting the potential of Gilan Province.

According to Baran Press, speaking during a meeting with the Governor of Gilan Province, Zhong stated that China’s new five-year plan prioritizes developing high-quality partnerships with its allied nations.

Ambassador Zhong identified Gilan’s strengths in agriculture, transportation, and the maritime economy. He noted that the province’s distinctive geography, natural beauty, and tourist attractions present opportunities for significant economic tourism between China and Iran.

The Ambassador further elaborated those collaborative ventures between Chinese and Iranian businesses in sectors such as agriculture, energy, and port infrastructure could stimulate economic growth for both countries.

Gilan Province, he suggested, could serve as a key center for the execution of these joint projects.

ژونگ پی وو، سفیر چین در ایران، بر تعهد پکن به گسترش همکاری‌های اقتصادی با ایران، به ویژه برجسته کردن پتانسیل استان گیلان، تأکید کرده است.

به گزارش باران پرس، ژونگ در دیدار با استاندار گیلان اظهار داشت: برنامه پنج ساله جدید چین، توسعه همکاری‌های کیفی با کشورهای متحد خود را در اولویت قرار داده است.

«زونگ پی وو» با اشاره به ظرفیت‌های گیلان در کشاورزی، حمل‌ونقل و اقتصاد دریایی تصریح کرد: استان گیلان با ویژگی‌های خاص جغرافیایی، طبیعت زیبا و جاذبه‌های گردشگری خود، می‌تواند به عنوان یکی از مقاصد مهم گردشگری اقتصادی میان دو کشور ایفای نقش کند.

سفیر در ادامه به تشریح سرمایه‌گذاری‌های مشترک بین شرکت‌های چینی و ایرانی در بخش‌هایی مانند کشاورزی، انرژی و زیرساخت‌های بندری پرداخت که می‌تواند رشد اقتصادی هر دو کشور را تحریک کند.

وی پیشنهاد داد که استان گیلان می‌تواند به عنوان یک مرکز کلیدی برای اجرای این پروژه‌های مشترک عمل کند.
