A diplomatic source in Pakistan says no diplomatic delegation from Iran has been dispatched to Islamabad “so far.”
IRNA – In response to speculations about possible negotiations in Pakistan, a diplomatic source told IRNA on Tuesday that no delegation from Iran has arrived in the Pakistani capital.
The source clarified that neither official nor unofficial information has been received regarding any Iranian involvement in the negotiations in Islamabad.
Additionally, the source emphasized that security considerations are a top priority for any potential delegation traveling to Pakistan.
Some international and regional media reports had suggested that an Iranian delegation was set to arrive for a second round of talks with the United States as a two-week ceasefire is set to expire on Wednesday.
Iranian officials have said Tehran will not negotiate under threats.
