The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, messaged on X: “The EU Foreign Ministers just took the decisive step of designating Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.”

According to IRNA, the European Union, in a political move, classified the IRGC, which is considered an official Iranian military institution, on the list of so-called terrorist organizations.

This hasty action was taken in violation of legal procedures in the European Union.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics stated that the European Union’s decision to place the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on its so-called terrorist list is a spiteful, hasty, and desperate response to its repeated failures to undermine the determination of the noble Iranian nation against external threats orchestrated by foreign agents.

به گزارش ایرنا، اتحادیه اروپا در اقدامی سیاسی، سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی را که یک نهاد نظامی رسمی ایران به‌شمار می‌رود در فهرست سازمان‌های به اصطلاح تروریستی طبقه‌بندی کرد.

این اقدام شتابزده بر خلاف رویه‌های حقوقی در اتحادیه اروپا صورت گرفت.

وزارت دفاع و پشتیبانی نیروهای مسلح روز جمعه در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که تصمیم اتحادیه اروپا برای قرار دادن سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی در فهرست به اصطلاح تروریستی خود، واکنشی کینه‌توزانه، عجولانه و از روی استیصال به شکست‌های مکرر آن در تضعیف عزم ملت شریف ایران در برابر تهدیدات خارجی که توسط عوامل بیگانه سازماندهی می‌شود، می‌باشد.
