Flights between Gorgan in northern Iran and Aktau in Kazakhstan is scheduled to resume after a temporary suspension caused by regional conflict and security concerns.

According to Baran Press, Ali Metanat, director-general of Golestan province airports, said: services from Gorgan’s airport to Aktau will operate regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays. The opening flight on the route will be carried out by Pars Air on Aug. 26.

Metanat said the number of international flights from Gorgan could increase in line with the needs of residents and local business operators. Talks are also under way to relaunch services between Gorgan and Istanbul, he added.

Over the past couple of weeks, several international routes to and from Iranian airports, including those operated by Turkish Airlines, have been restored as air travel in the region resumes.

قرار است پروازهای بین گرگان در شمال ایران و آکتائو در قزاقستان پس از تعلیق موقت ناشی از درگیری‌های منطقه‌ای و نگرانی‌های امنیتی از سر گرفته شود.

به گزارش باران پرس، علی متانت، مدیرکل فرودگاه‌های استان گلستان، گفت: خدمات فرودگاه گرگان به آکتائو به طور منظم در روزهای سه‌شنبه و جمعه انجام خواهد شد. پرواز افتتاحیه در این مسیر توسط پارس ایر در ۲۶ آگوست انجام خواهد شد.

متانت گفت که تعداد پروازهای بین‌المللی از گرگان می‌تواند متناسب با نیاز ساکنان و اپراتورهای تجاری محلی افزایش یابد. وی افزود که مذاکراتی نیز برای راه‌اندازی مجدد خدمات بین گرگان و استانبول در حال انجام است.

طی چند هفته گذشته، چندین مسیر بین‌المللی به و از فرودگاه‌های ایران، از جمله مسیرهای تحت مدیریت خطوط هوایی ترکیه، با از سرگیری سفرهای هوایی در منطقه، دوباره برقرار شده‌اند.
