The second Caspian “Floor Curling” Cup, took place in the Anzali Free Zone in September, drew the attention of the world federation.

According to Baran Press, the website of the World Floor Curling Federation states: Under the guidance of Iran Curling and the Ski & Winter Sports Federation of Iran, the event was organized by the Curling Committee of the Gilan Ski & Winter Sports Board with support and hosting of the Anzali Free Zone Organization.

 It brought together 32 teams and 64 athletes for an open-age, mixed doubles floor curling competition.

It united participants aged 9 to 65, demonstrating the sport’s community-building power.

The inaugural First Caspian Cup took place in 2025 and focused primarily on Under-16 athletes and the third edition of the Caspian Cup is already being planned with a broader development vision.

دومین دوره جام «فلور کرلینگ» کاسپین که شهریور ماه در منطقه آزاد انزلی مورد توجه فدراسیون جهانی این رشته قرار گرفت.

به گزارش باران پرس، در وبسایت فدراسیون جهانی فلور کرلینگ آمده است: این رویداد با نظارت «انجمن کرلینگ ایران» و «فدراسیون اسکی و ورزش‌های زمستانی ایران»، توسط کمیته کرلینگ هیئت اسکی و ورزش‌های زمستانی استان گیلان و با حمایت و میزبانی «سازمان منطقه آزاد انزلی» ترتیب یافت.

در این مسابقات که در قالب رقابت‌های دونفره مختلط و بدون محدودیت سنی برگزار شد، ۳۲ تیم متشکل از ۶۴ ورزشکار حضور داشتند.

حضور شرکت‌کنندگانی در بازه سنی ۹ تا ۶۵ سال، نشان‌دهنده ظرفیت این رشته ورزشی در تقویت همبستگی اجتماعی بود.

نخستین دوره جام کاسپین که سال گذشته برگزار شده بود با تمرکز بر ورزشکاران رده سنی زیر ۱۶ سال بود و بناست، برنامه‌ریزی برای سومین دوره جام کاسپین نیز با چشم‌اندازی گسترده‌تر برای توسعه این ورزش، نیز انجام پذیرد.
