On the eve of the Iranian President’s visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Governor of Gilan Province met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran, Ali Ali-zadeh, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations.

According to Baran Press, During the meeting, the Governor of Gilan highlighted the historical ties between the province and Azerbaijan, stating, “The fourteenth government presents a unique opportunity for the development of relations between the two countries.”

He expressed hope for significant growth in areas such as goods and passenger transit, investment attraction, and cultural and sports exchanges.

Ambassador Ali-zadeh welcomed the prospect of expanded trade and tourism relations and stated his intention to follow up on the removal of trade barriers between the two countries, particularly at the Astara border.

دیدار استاندار گیلان با سفیر آذربایجان در آستانه سفر ریاست جمهوری

استاندار گیلان در آستانه سفر رئیس جمهور ایران به جمهوری آذربایجان، با علی علیزاده سفیر جمهوری آذربایجان در ایران، دیدار و درباره تقویت روابط دوجانبه گفتگو کرد.

به گزارش باران پرس، استاندار گیلان در این جلسه با اشاره به سوابق تاریخی گیلان و آذربایجان، گفت: دولت چهاردهم فرصتی بی‌نظیر برای توسعه روابط دو کشور است.

دکتر حق‌شناس ابراز امیدواری کرد تا در موضوعاتی همچون ترانزیت کالا و مسافر، جذب سرمایه‌گذاری و تبادلات فرهنگی و ورزشی، شاهد توسعه‌‌ی فزاینده‌ای در اینده باشیم‌.

علی علیزاده سفیر آذربایجان در جمهوری اسلامی ایران نیز با استقبال از گسترش روابط تجاری و گردشگری، گفت: پیگیر رفع موانع تجارتی بین دو کشور، بخصوص در مرز آستارا خواهم بود.
